In this course, you will learn :

- Sketching for reference. We will turn your ideas into reference sketches for your illustration.
- In Illustrator, block in your shapes. You will begin by blocking in shapes and colours to suggest the composition of your piece.
- Drawing in vector format. We'll start by drawing in your characters and experimenting with shapes.
- Organization by layer and label. I will show you how to organise your layers and labels to maximise your workflow.
- Masking. I'll show you how to use masks to simplify a complex illustration.
- Shading and volumizing the hair. You will use sketching and volumizing techniques to bring your sketch to life.
