Description
In this course, you will :
- Explore the course materials, then work through some exercises that use the Senbyouhou, Kasure, and Choboku techniques to help with brush movement and ink effects.
- Get some composition ideas, then grab your brushes! Your instructor walks you through the steps of painting persimmons and magnolias in Senbyouhou, followed by a rose and an iris in Tsuketatehou.
- The seal is the final step in the procedure. Koshu gives you a basic history and meaning of seals before walking you through the process of producing one.
- Develop your sumi-e talents by painting four different types of colourful plants using the Senbyouhou and Tsuketatehou techniques: persimmon, magnolia, rose, and iris.
