In this course, you will :
- Explore the course materials and how to use them correctly. Mildred goes over some drawing standards before advising you on how to work with a model and select reference photos.
- Learn how to create a human form gesture before transforming your lines into basic forms and complex textures.
- Through some brief sketches, illustrates how to apply these approaches.
- Consider how the figure can be deconstructed into three-dimensional forms and developed into a more complicated structure. Then, work on more sketches, experimenting with value to give the appearance of volume.
- Discuss the basic anatomical landmarks and masses before focusing on the torso. concludes the course with a final demonstration that incorporates all of the elements taught throughout the course.
- Create a full-length portrait, combining lines, 3D, and anatomical details.
