Description
In this course, you will :
- Learn how he turned his childhood passion for drawing into a full-time career, as well as the influences that inspire him and the work he produces.
- Get an overview of Procreate and its features. Then look at Jim's process for developing an illustration concept. Make a reference mood board and use it to draw three thumbnail sketches, experimenting with composition.
- Create your initial illustration using your favourite sketch as a base before refining it into a more refined line drawing. Colorize your work and use shadow to add depth. Then, before adding the finishing touches to your drawing, work on the lighting.
- Learn how to make your own digital illustration textures. Jim also demonstrates how to add movement to your image to make it into a simple animation. To conclude the course, he walks you through the formatting and exporting of the completed project.
