In this course, you will learn:

• Examine the materials you'll need to get started designing and learn about their various applications.
• Visual research is essential to every work of art, so discover out how Sophie uses both physical and internet resources to locate references and new ideas.
• Concentrate on the concept and begin sketching the primary shapes, increasing definition as you go.
• Learn how to edit your drawings and establish the "baselines" needed to get a crisp outline when you have some preliminary sketches of the ideas. Shade all three drawings according to the instructions to achieve accurate results and high contrast.
• Learn how to properly alter the size of your drawing, which will come in handy if you want to make prints or goods.
• Get Sophie's tips on the ideal body placement for your new design, as well as how to care for a tattoo if you ever decide to get one on your own skin.
