Description
In this course, you will learn:
- Start with some tonal value theory to discover why it's so crucial to get them correct.
- Make your first bird drawing in graphite, paying attention to the dark, light, and mid-tones.
- Learn how warm and cool colours work together in a composition and how to make colour palettes with both saturated and desaturated colours.
- Look for appropriate photo references and work on them digitally to make them "paint-ready."
- To tell a tale with your composition, use practical elements like branch shapes, negative space, and colour.
- Finally, embellish your artwork with gel pens and paint splashes and drips to complete it.
