Description
In this course, you will learn:
- You'll be ready to put brush to paper and practise your abilities by painting a skull from a photograph.
- Michele explains how to paint an expressive portrait using gradient washes, watercolour methods, and appropriately expressing facial characteristics. The eye—the portal to the soul, as he points out—is the most significant component in the image.
- The course's final assignment is a step-by-step walkthrough on how to paint a live model. It all starts with planning and writing, as well as getting to know your subject. The next step is to define the structure and motions.
- Finally, add colour and detail to your painting to make it come alive.
- After you've finished your portrait, Michele will show you how to properly maintain it and frame it.
