In this course, you will :
- Discover how to justify and select projects, as well as how stakeholders can influence project outcomes. Identify the requirements for defining project scope and create a list of tasks required to achieve that scope.
- Create effective communication strategies and delegate responsibilities. Through the use of scheduling software, you can learn the fundamentals of project planning.
- Before defining the total project scope, define the project requirements, objectives, and goals using a work breakdown structure (WBS). You'll be able to apply what you've learned to a case study that combines the key elements of project launch.
- Develop two quality metrics for a project
- Differentiate between fixed price and cost reimbursable contract types
- Perform a basic risk assessment
- Estimate the quantities and costs of resources required to perform project activities
- Identify differences in three common cost estimating techniques
