Description
This course is intended to introduce data privacy to a broad audience and assist each participant in understanding how data privacy has evolved as a compelling concern for both public and private organisations, as well as individuals. In this course, you will hear from legal and technical experts as well as practitioners who deal with data privacy issues on a daily basis. This course will examine data privacy theories as well as data privacy in the context of social media and artificial intelligence. It will also investigate issues of data privacy in journalism, surveillance, and new technologies such as facial recognition and biometrics. The completion of the course qualifies the participant for CPE credit.
