Description
The second course in Leiden University's new series on International Law in Action is titled 'Investigating and Prosecuting International Crimes.' The first course focused on international courts and tribunals in general in The Hague. This second course gives students an inside look at the work of international criminal courts and tribunals. You will learn about international crime investigation and prosecution in The Hague.
This course will provide you with an insight into the 'kitchen' of the Hague international criminal courts and tribunals. You will learn how international criminal justice works, who the actors are, what the outcomes are, and how it can be improved.
