In this course, you will learn:
- Understanding what a colour key is and how it can be utilised to produce impactful personal and commercial projects will help you establish the goal of your final image.
- Then, based on the theme you've picked for your final project, make a reference board.
- Begin by sketching thumbnails and practising compositional concepts such as the rule of thirds, the golden ratio, pyramid composition, and visual balance.
- Learn how to create colour keys and do digital retouching on your photos.
- Learn how to block out the flats and define the forms, two fundamental stages that assist define an illustration's primary parts and prepare it for painting.
- Learn how to use simple light and shadow layers to examine the values of the painting.
- Then begin generating your image and applying colour to appropriately portray light and shadows.
- To finish, learn Matt's methods for post-processing photographs, including how to balance colour throughout the image. Learn how to improve the quality of your photograph and how to exhibit and share your work online using simple strategies
