In this course, you will learn:

• Start with Photoshop and your graphics tablet, and go over each tool one by one. Learn how to use tools like the smudge tool to create shadows and light.
• Use the same brushes that Karmen uses to make her paintings to see how she uses brushes for her illustrations and how to configure them.
• Learn how to use and alter colour in your portraits, as well as her blending techniques for adding colour to your work effortlessly.
• Learn why establishing a mood board based on the concept of your fantasy portrait is important for inspiring you to continue developing the aspects of your image.
• Learn how to gather resources and how Karmen finds inspiration.
• Continue sketching your image, incorporating fantasy elements into your design.
• Working with highlights and sparkles to make your artwork pop, add the finishing touches to your portrait.
• Use Karmen's ideas and tactics to sharpen your portrait and give it more detail.
• Once you've completed your creation, learn how to export it and compress it for digital media and printing.
