Description
In this course, you will learn:
- Before looking at some examples, learn what packaging design is and what to consider when designing a packaging concept.
- Learn how to read and analyse a brief in order to emphasise the brand's and product's most significant qualities and needs.
- Find sources of inspiration and decide on the project's artistic direction.
- Then, before refining and strengthening your notion, examine what factors to consider while selecting the ideal idea.
- Create a mood board to obtain the look and feel of your brand once you have a solid concept.
- Create a paper prototype by designing your dieline in Adobe Illustrator, printing it, and cutting it. This will assist you in deciding on your materials and printing method.
- After that, start working on the visual aspects of your packages. Marion will create hand-drawn illustrations that will be digitised later.
- Learn how to cut and assemble the pack once the pattern has been printed.
