In this course, you will learn:
- Define and distinguish the contributions and limitations of the third-sector concepts: social economy, solidarity economy, social entrepreneurship, associations, and cooperatives.
- On the basis of an investigation of their distinctive characteristics, distinguish social enterprises from other public and private actors.
- Interpret the variety of social enterprise models in light of their historical trajectories as well as more current innovations.
- Identify and understand the perspectives of social economy players in respect to the mainstream socio-economic models, and use them to support your own perspective.
