Description
In this course, you will learn:
- We combine theory and practice, guiding students through the social entrepreneurship experience using a methodical framework. We begin by choosing a social or environmental concern that each kid is eager to tackle.
- Students spend their time describing the problem, brainstorming potential solutions, and developing business models around those solutions.
- This course provides a safe environment in which to experiment, iterate, prototype, test, and fail. Some people will advise you not to start a new business. Along the way, you'll hear from Yale alumni who started new businesses, New Haven social entrepreneurs, and global changemakers. Everyone is welcome; no prior experience is required.
