Description
In this course, you will learn:
- Identify the key characteristics of the Industrial Food System ("IFS").
- Recognize four basic frameworks in the western philosophical ethics tradition.
- Consider how food is produced, delivered, promoted, and eaten in the IFS and alternative systems from an ethical standpoint.
- Describe and analyse the major responses to the IFS's numerous problems by industry professionals, "alternative food" advocates, scientists, philosophers, dietitians, and activists.
