Description
You will learn about the various career paths available in journalism, as well as the opportunities that a journalist's skill sets can provide in other fields. You will learn how to be an international correspondent, how to self-publish in journalism, and how to freelance in the field. You will be given the tools you need to forge your own path in journalism, from being an active and informed consumer to becoming a journalist. Journalism is used in the fields of business, communications, politics, education, and marketing. This course also looks at how to maintain audience trust through ethical and responsible journalistic practises. Journalists must be aware of their own safety at times. We will intelligently discuss how journalists around the world deal with pressure, threats, and other hazards in the course of their work.
