Description
The goal of this course is to provide an overview of ancient Rome's culture from around 1000 BCE to the so-called "Fall of Rome." We'll look at some of the key figures who shaped Rome, from the kings to the Roman Republic and the Roman Empire. We will also look at the city of Rome and its expansion throughout Italy, the Mediterranean, and beyond.
