You will learn: Operation of IP Data Networks (5%) – recognize different network devices and their various components, common problems on networks, basic purpose and operation of OSI and TCP/IP models.
LAN Switching Technologies (20%) – basic switching concepts, verify and configure different switches, describe, configure and verify VLANs, configure and verify trunking on Cisco switches.
IP Addressing (IPv4/IPv6) (5%) – the necessity of using private and public IP addresses, appropriate IPv6 addressing scheme, technological requirements for running IPv4 and IPv6 addresses.
IP Routing Technologies (20%) – configure and verify basic routers, verify network connectivity, configure and verify (OSPF, interVLAN routing, and SVI interfaces), manage IOS files, etc.
IP Services (10%) – describe and verify DHCP, types, features and applications of ACLs, configure and verify ACLs, identify basic operation or NAT, etc.
