Description
In this course, you will learn:
- Dive deeper into the fundamentals of enterprise cloud computing. The course does not require much prior knowledge, and you will experience it as if you were a student in a lecture hall. All sessions were captured during Prof. Hasso Plattner's Trends and Concepts lecture at the HPI in 2021 and 2022.
- This course is the successor to Enterprise Goes Cloud 1, building on the foundations laid there and providing new perspectives on topics such as data management. Starting with the database, you'll learn about the differences in needs, such as elasticity and multitenancy, when transitioning from on-premise to cloud infrastructures.
- Learn more about the migration of ERP systems to the cloud, as well as technical issues such as containerization, workflow engines, and cloud-native service models.
- The course concludes with a look at potential future possibilities, such as increased use of low-code/no-code services and the growing importance of clearly modeled processes in the enterprise landscape. In a nutshell, you'll gain a thorough understanding of current advancements in enterprise cloud computing.
- After finishing this course, you will have a better understanding of the core techniques and technologies in cloud computing and the SAP Business Technology Platform.
