Description
This introductory or beginner-level course focuses on mastering the fundamentals of email etiquette and communication. While practise with common writing purposes will help learners become faster and more efficient writers, it does not cover marketing emails or job application materials. You will write a clear and concise email/memo at the end of the course. The final product will be tailored to your professional goals and will adhere to the guidelines for one of the common types of emails/messages covered in the course: directives, progress reports, incident reports, response to inquiries, and meeting minutes. You will learn a plethora of new skills. You will learn about proper email/memo formats, common ways to organise email/memo contents, common email/memo routing protocols, and professional writing expectations.
